Running from the 17th of June to the 15th of July 2024, this latest iteration of one of Europe’s top classical music events looks to build on its rich legacy with an unparalleled programme of courses and masterclasses in no fewer than 10 different instruments, all led by a distinguished roster of professors and pedagogues gathered together from across the world. Dear friends,
It is with great enthusiasm that I announce the seventh edition of the International Music Festival Chieti Classica.
The constant presence of this event from 2018 onwards in the wonderful city of Chieti, is a sign of how much our association cares about the promotion of classical music culture in our territory, through the presence of talented young people from all over the world and of internationally renowned teachers.
The news we receive every day reveals how difficult and complex the times we are living are. Culture, Art and Music really become a hope, a light and a way of protesting against the disharmonies of our time. Quoting the immense Leonard Bernstein: "This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before."
With the hope that our festival will leave a mark in your hearts and that it will prove to be an important stage of your musical training, I wish you an unforgettable Chieti Classica 2024!
